Took my car in for an estimate and was told 1200.00 to replace master cylinder on a 2011 Tucson. Was told the part was 800.00 amd could only be purchased from dealership. I took the car home and found the part the next day at Orielly Auto Parts for 148.00 and took the car to another shop for the installation. Total cost for part and labor was under 450.00 This shop lied to me and tried to scam me into paying outrageous money. Would give zero stars if possible.
Hi James, we are so sorry! We have 5 vendors in our network and Oreilly is not one of them. None of our vendors showed it as an option, and between them all they carry a huge variety of manufacturers. In that case we call the dealer because, when that happens, it is normally is not available aftermarket. The dealers parts are definitely more expensive which is why we choose them upon request or as a last resort. We wish we had found that option for you but we are super glad that our diagnostics was correct, you found a good option, and the repair took care of your concern!! Best of luck!!
