I've been trying to get them to fix my transmission that they worked on last year. I've brought it in twice and both times they said nothing is wrong with it. It's making a loud grinding noise and they say they can't hear it! I'm going to take it somewhere else to get fixed and sue them for not doing the work right the first time and then denying it is not working correctly.
Hi Frank, I can certainly hear and understand your frustration and for that we are truly very sorry! The transmission is definitely still under warranty and I have no problem at all redoing the job. We just haven't gotten the transmission to act up in the short amount of time that we have had with the truck because it is an intermittent issue. We just ask that you can drop it off with us for a little bit so that we have some time to try to get it to act up so that we know what we are trying to fix. Due to your concerns I am more than happy to extend the warranty on the transmission, at no cost, for another full year so that you can have better piece of mind. You have my word that we will get it taken care of for you so that annoying grinding sound you are hearing will be a thing of the past. We just would like to have some time with it so that we can be certain of where it is coming from and what might be causing it. Again, I have no problem rebuilding the transmission even if it is to just see if that is the problem, if that is what you would like us to do. Please give us a call or feel free to drop it off with us at your convenience and give us a little time to try to identify it and get it sorted out for you. We sincerely apologize that we haven't gotten it right away for you, sometimes the intermittent concerns can take a little more time. But we are here to get it fixed for you if you will allow us.
